One killed in Chattogram road crash

A passenger was killed and 25 others injured as a bus overturned at Bypass in Patiya upazila of Chattogram on Saturday noon, reports UNB.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The bus flipped over around 12 noon as its driver tried to save an adolescent who was crossing the road, said witnesses.

The accident killed a passenger on the spot while 25 others injured.

On information, police and firefighters rescued the injured and took them to Patiya Upazila Health Complex.

Later, three of them were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said Soumen Barua, station officer of Patiya fire service station.
