Satkhira road crash kills 1

A stone trader was killed and four pedestrians were injured in a road accident in front of Bhomra land port in Satkhira on Tuesday night, reports news agency UNB.

The deceased is Uzzal Hossain, a resident of Paikgachha upazila of Khulna district.

Police said the accident took place when a stone-laden truck with Uzzal on board turned turtle in front of Bhomra land port around 7:30pm, leaving the trader dead on the spot and four pedestrians injured.

The injured were taken to Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
