Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka ranked the 2nd worst in Air Quality Index (AQI) on Saturday.
The independent live air-quality index monitor, Air Visual, shows Dhaka’s AQI value as 167 around 9:15am.
Mongolia's Ulaanbaatar topped the list with an AQI score of 180 while Pakis's Karachi and China's Shanghai stood third and fourth in the list of poor air cities with AQI values 166 and 161 respectively.
Dhaka topped the worst air city list multiple times including 9, 14, 18, 19, 24 and 25 February. It had also ranked the worst earlier on 17 and 23 November, 26 December and 6, 29, 31 January.
The city has been continuously staying within the five most polluted cities around the world.
