From Mujibnagar memorial

Today is the historic Mujibnagar Day. On this day in 1971, the first government of Bangladesh that led the war of liberation, sworn in at Baidyanathtala (later named Mujibnagar) in Meherpur.

The Mujibnagar Smriti Soudha, a memorial complex, has been built at the site of the oath taking ceremony in Mujibnagar. The memorial covers an area of 20.10 acres.
