Fishing in Gumti river

Yesterday, Monday was the last day of the annual two-day fishing festival in Gumti River. The fishing festival ranged from Tikkar Char Bridge to Chanpur Bailey Bridge in Adarsha Sadar upazila of Cumilla. Prothom Alo senior photojournalist M Sadek was clicking photographs of this festival Monday morning when he fell ill suddenly. After he was rushed to the local hospital he died there while undergoing treatment. Today’s photo story is created with photographs taken by M Sadek on the last day of his life.
