Striker Al-Amin scored four goals as Bangladesh outplayed Sri Lanka 7-1 in their SAFF U-15 Championship game at Kalyani in India's Nadia district on Sunday.

Although the match saw eight goals, the first of the game was not scored before the 32nd minute, when Al-Amin claimed his first goal of the day.

Ten minutes later, Raqibul doubled the lead while Al-Amin scored the third on the 44th minute.

Al Mirad made it 4-0 three minutes into the second half, but two minutes later Sri Lanka pulled one back.

On the hour-mark, Al-Amin completed his hattrick, which was followed by Golam Rabbi's 67-minute strike while the former netted his fourth on the day four minutes later.

Bangladesh beat Bhutan 5-2 in their first match. They now have six points thanks to two wins in as many games.

Besides Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan, Nepal and hosts India are fighting for the trophy. The top two teams in the group stage will play the final.
