Minister asks medical coaching centres to close down from 1 Sep

Health and family welfare minister Mohammad Nasim on Monday ordered to shut down all medical coaching centres across the country for holding hassle-free entry tests to medical and dental colleges, news agency UNB reports.

The minister also directed the authorities concerned to take legal action under Information and Communication Act (ICT) if anyone spread fake news or rumours through internet or Facebook about the admission test or question paper leak.

The minister asked the Health Ministry to execute his directions with highest transparency.

People were asked to lodge complain with local police stations or at the Ministry if anyone have any information of irregularity or question paper leak,according to a press release issued on Monday.

The minister also sought cooperation from law enforcers, guardians and students by resisting rumours centering the intake test.

Medical college admission test will be held on 5 October and dental college admission test on 9 November.
