Sources at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, confirmed the matter.

Prior to the SSC and its equivalent examinations that held from 14 November to 23 November, education minister Dipu Moni said the results would be published in 30 days after the tests end.

Convener of inter-education board examinations controller sub-committee and examinations controller of Dhaka education board SM Amirul Islam said they have taken preparations as per the announcement of the education minister.

SSC and its equivalent examinations delayed for more than half months due to coronavirus pandemic. This year, more than 2.2 million candidates took the tests.

Numbers of tests as well as marks were curtailed due to coronavirus. Examinations were held on three elective subjects of each group with a shortened syllabus. There were no examinations on compulsory and fourth or optional subjects.

Results of mandatory and optional subjects will be given based on the previous JSC, JDC, SSC, and equivalent examination results.
