
Mohammadpur Preparatory School and College authorities on Saturday discharged its English section vice-principal from his duty and suspended two other employees following protest from the guardians over sexual harassment of two students recently.
The vice-principal was removed on charge of making objectionable comments on the allegation of sexual harassment of a first-grade female student.
The authorities also suspended all the male staff of the canteen and cleaning department from girls arena and shifted them to other departments.
The School's Trustee Board member M Tamim made the announcement after the demonstration of guardians in front of the school.
On 5 May, a first grader girl was allegedly groped and her guardians lodged a complaint to the school authorities on 9 May. But the headmaster and other teachers allegedly tried to hide the matter, enraging many guardians.
