Senior journalist Saleh Chowdhury no more

Senior journalist and columnist Saleh Chowdhury passed away at a city hospital on Friday evening.

He was 81.

President of Bangladesh chapter of Commonwealth Journalists Association (CJA) and a permanent member of the Jatiya Press Club, Saleh Chowdhury worked as a senior assistant editor for the now-defunct Dainik Bangla.

Family members said he will be buried after his son returns from the USA.
