TIN must for savings certificates worth more than Tk 200,000

Finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has presented the national budget for 2021-22 fiscal in the parliament.

He started presenting the proposed budget for 2021-22 fiscal titled as “Bangladesh Towards a Resilient Future Protecting Lives And Livelihoods” at 3:00pm on Thursday.

In the budget, the tax identification number (TIN) has been made compulsory for buying savings certificates worth more than Tk 200,000 and opening postal savings accounts.
