Hosts Bangladesh registered their 2nd successive victory in the Group C match of the six-nation AFC U-16 Women’s Championship-2017 Qualifiers outplaying Singapore by 5-0 goals at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Monday evening.

With the day’s well-merited victory, Bangladesh have secured full six points from straight two matches to share the top slot with Chinese Taipei while Singapore bagged only one point from two matches after playing 2-2 draw with the UAE.

Bangladesh captain Krishna Rani Sarkar and striker Anuching Mogini scored two goals each while Mishrat Jahan Moushumi netted the other one for the home side.

Krishna opened the flood gate for Bangladesh in the 39th minute by a good header, utilising a curved cross of striker Sanjida Akhter from the right flank (1-0).

She doubled the margin in the 47th minute by a placing shot, capitalising on a left flank cross of midfielder Marzia (2-0).

Substitute forward Anuching Mogini scored the 3rd goal for Bangladesh in the 81st minute by tapping the ball home when a right footer of Tahura came his way slipped from gloves Singapore goalie Lutrah Hannah (3-0).

Mishrat Jahan Moushumi scored the 4th goal for the hosts in the 86th minute capitalising on a Anuching pass (4-0).

Anuching Mogini sealed the fate of the match in the stoppage time by a left footer off a Tahura’s header which came her way hitting the cross bar (5-0).
