A Bangladesh Biman flight made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka Tuesday afternoon.
The Dash-8 airliner took off for Syedpur around 12 noon but had to make the emergency landing 15 minutes later due to technical glitches, a number of sources at the airport said.
The 63 passengers of the flight had been waiting for the problems to be solved while the report was being filed at 2:30pm.
The mobile phones of the Biman public relation officials were switched off while civil aviation authorities also denied making any comments.
Just over a week ago on 12 March, a flight of US Bangla Airlines crashed in Nepal while landing at the Kathmandu airport, killing 49 people, including 26 Bangladeshis.
