Minor killed, 3 injured in Chandpur gas cylinder blast

A six-month old baby girl was killed and three other members of a family were injured as a gas cylinder blasted at Paschim Moishadi village in Sadar upazila of Chandpur early Tuesday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Sumaiya Akhter Eva, daughter of Nasir Miraz.

Moniruzzaman Manik Patwary, chairman of Moishadi union parishad, said that a fire broke at the house of Nasir early in the morning following the explosion, leaving Sumaiya dead.

Besides, Nasir, his wife Marzana Begum and their son Nayan, 8, were also received burn injuries.

The fire also burned down the house.
