Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) additional commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallik has been appointed as the chief of detective branch (DB) police.
DMP commissioner Md. Mainul Hassan signed an office order in this regard on Sunday.
Rezaul Karim Mallik joined the police in 1998 after passing the 17th BCS (police) exams.
Earlier, he worked in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and a few other units of the police.
