Five alleged Ansar al-Islam men remanded
A Dhaka court on Tuesday placed five alleged members of banned militant outfit Ansar al-Islam on three-day remand each in an anti-terror act case filed with Dhamrai police station, reports BSS.
The accused are -- Mizanur Rahman Palash, 35, Durul Huda, 44, Abdur Rashid, 21, Md Russel, 37 and Abdul Hai, 40.
The court of Dhaka senior judicial magistrate Moniruzzaman passed the order against them as police produced the accused before the court and pleaded to place them on seven-day remand.

A team of RAB-4 arrested them on 26 July from Dhamrai Dhulibhita Bus Stand area and recovered jihadi documents and mobile phones from their possessions.
RAB later filed the case with Dhamrai police station.
