Mymensingh couple found dead

A couple was found dead at Kandania village in Phulbari upazila of Mymensingh on Tuesday, reports UNB. 

The deceased is Iman Ali, 45 and his wife Aklima Khatun, 40 of the village.

Iman used to lock into altercation with Aklima, mother of three children, suspecting that she had an extramarital affair, said Phulbaria police station officer in-charge Firoz Talukdar quoting local people.

On Tuesday morning, neighbors spotted the body of Iman hanging from a tree while the body of Aklima floating in a pond.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy around 9 am.

Police said Iman might have committed suicide after pushing his wife Aklima down into the pond over family feud.
