AL lawmaker wears placard in JS demanding embankment
The ruling party’s parliamentarian SM Shahjada wearing a placard around his neck delivered speech in national parliament on Wednesday.
The placard reads 'no more demand, want embankment not relief'.
The AL leader spoke in such a manner before the speaker expressing his solidarity with the locals’ demand for constructing permanent embankment along the coast.

The lawmaker from Patuakhali said he had to face the anger of his constituency’s people while he went there accompanying relief for them following the recent cyclone.
SM Shahjada said locals don’t want relief. Rather they need embankment, he added.
