Bank transaction between 9:00am and 3:00pm from Wednesday

Transactions in the bank will be available from 9:00am to 3:00pm from Wednesday while the office hours of the bankers from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued an instruction on Monday evening concerning the matter.

Earlier, cabinet secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said the banking hour will start at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm.

At present, the transaction hour starts at 10:00am and ends at 4:00pm.
