Tisha and Farooki expecting first child

Actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha and director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki have announced their first child.

Both Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Mostofa Sarwar Farooki confirmed Prothom Alo on Tuesday noon that they are expecting their first child.

Though the acting career of Nusrat Imrose Tisha spans over 24 years, there has been no news about her acting over the past several months. She even anchored programmes at studios amid the coronavirus pandemic but over the couple of months she had done from her Banani residence.

News also spread out she was confined to her house after twisting her leg as and physicians advised her full rest. In the meantime, Prothom Alo learned Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Mostofa Sarwar Farooki are expecting their first child.

As the family did not allow it, Prothom Alo could not disclose the news beforehand. But they promised that this correspondent would be first one to be informed of it. After having two phases of conversations with Nusrat Imrose Tisha, it was finally learned on Tuesday that the couple are expecting a new addition to their family in one and a half month. All members of the family are excited over the news of the arrival of a new member.

Motherhood is one of the best chapters in a woman’s life. So, what is the reason behind such delay to reveal this news? In reply, Nusrat Imrose Tisha said, “Becoming a mother and the matter of child are very personal issues. And, I wanted to keep in personal. I also took it as a sensitive issue. I thought I would inform people at a certain time. And, I think it is the time now. My fans and well-wishers, who love me, will pray for me after hearing this news. Putting everything together, the news was shared now.”

Nusrat Imrose Tisha said her pregnancy was going well excellently and it was new chapter of her life. “I am going to have a new identity. I acted as mother in many dramas and now I feel it in real life. I cannot explain the entire journey in words. Such is the journey, in one word, it is wonderful. A new identify is coming to my life and that I have been enjoying very much,” she said.

Nusrat Imrose Tisha further said, “I have many identities that include daughter-in-law, daughter, sister-in-law, aunt, actress, model and singer. This time, I am going to become a mother and it is going to start a new chapter of my life.”

Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Mostofa Sarwar Farooki tied the knot in 2010.
