Bangali food fest at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel
Diversified Bangladeshi food items have been offered to food lovers at a food festival at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.
More than 100 typical Bangladesh items to be served during the festival, cover fish, meat curries, fruits, and various kinds of Bangladeshi cakes.
Sonargaon hotel authorities brought to food lovers the 'Bengali Food Festival', to mark the 'World Tourism Day' on Wednesday.
The food festival will continue till 30 September.
“It’s all about food and fun,” an official said showing the food items in front of guests. Mouth-watering seasonal fruits and Bangladesh’s age-old traditional foods are also there.
Food lovers can also take the taste of delicious hilsha fry and various types of 'shutki bhorta' (pest of dried fish), the authorities said.
They called on all of the world's tourists and the local food lovers to have a look at the Bangladeshi cuisine and experience natural diversity of the country.
