Bangladesh jump to 8th position in ODI ranking

Bangladesh graduated to the eighth position in ODI ranking of International Cricket Council (ICC) surpassing Pakistan.
The ICC published the ranking list on its website on Thursday.

This is for the first time Bangladesh secured its number-eight position in One-Day International ranking after whitewashing Pakistan in latest ODI series in Dhaka.

Bangladesh toppled Pakistan securing 2471 points from past 28 matches.

If Bangladesh can maintain the eighth position, it will get chance straight to participate in the next World Cup which will be held in England.
