Bangladesh reach U-19 semi-finals

Bangladesh Under-19 football team reached semi-finals of the SAFF championship, thrashing Bhutan 2-0 in Nepal on Saturday.
Days ago, the hosts Under-16 football team clinched their first-ever title of the SAFF championship, beating India by a 4-2 margin in the tiebreaker at Sylhet Stadium.
Rohit Sarkar netted first goat at the 42th minute. Two minutes after at 44th minute, Mannaf Rabbi raised the difference to two.
This is the first time, the SAFF authorities decided to arrange Under-19 level competition. Bangladesh might face India, Afghanistan or Maldives in one of the semi-finals.
