Bangladeshi killed in drone attack in UAE

Authorities in Fujairah of United Arab Emirates said that a person was killed today, Wednesday, after debris from a downed drone fell on a farm in the Al-Rifa area, according to Golf News.

According to the Fujairah Government Media Office, the country’s air defence system successfully intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). However, fragments of the drone later fell onto a farm in Al-Rifa.

Gulf News stated, authorities have confirmed that the victim was a Bangladeshi national.

Officials have urged the public not to spread rumours or unverified information that could create panic. They emphasised relying only on official sources for accurate updates.

According to the media outlet, rescue teams and relevant authorities are currently at the scene, monitoring the situation and working to ensure security in the area.
