Foreign minister AK Abdul Momen on Monday said if India cannot keep its border security forces under control, that is a shame for them as powerful, developed and matured democratic country.
Abdul Momen made this remarks replying to a query from newsmen on the killings of two Bangladeshis by Indian border forces, at his office in Dhaka.
Two Bangladeshis – Muntaj Hossain in Boldia border of Chuadnaga and Md Abu Hasan in Khitala border and Satkhira, were shot dead by Indian Border Security Force on Saturday night.
Foreign minister said, “I often say and I said it before that border killing is unfortunate for us and shameful for India because if they do not keep their border forces under control, if they cannot control their force members…, it is a shame for India as powerful, developed and matured democratic country.”
