BAF aircraft crashes
A training aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) crashed in a water body in Sadar upazila of Jashore on Sunday night, reports UNB.
Manager at Jessore Airport Alamgir Pathan told said that the aircraft crashed at Bukbhora Baor of Faridpur village around 9:20pm after it took off from the BAF base Matiur Rahman.
There were two pilots in the aircraft, he said, adding that it could not be known what happened to their fate.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station Abul Bashar Miah said police and firefighters on the to the spot.
