BNP leader Nazrul Islam hospitalised

BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan was admitted to a city hospital on Saturday evening as he fell sick, reports news agency UNB.

Nazrul Islam complained of chest pain while he was at the BNP executive committee meeting at a city hotel, said BNP chairperson's media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

He said, later, the BNP leader was taken to United Hospital around 7:00pm.

He has been kept at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital, Sayrul added.
