A Bangladeshi cattle trader was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Haribhasha border area in Panchagarh early Saturday.
The deceased is Samiul Haque, 35.
Ariful Haque, commanding officer of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-18, said members of Berubari border BSF opened fire on a group of cattle traders while crossing the border with cattle.
Samiul received bullet injuries and later died on his way to a local hospital.
