DU teachers, students demand steps to trace Mubashar

A human chain at the foot of Aparajeyo Bangla of Dhaka University demanded immediate steps of the authorities concerned to trace missing teacher of North South University (NSU) Mubashar Hasan, reports UNB.

DU Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department teachers and students formed the human chain on the campus on Sunday.

Presided by professor Gitiara Nasreen, MCJ department chairman professor Mofizur Rahman, professor Robayet Ferdous, Mubashar's sister Tamanna, among others, participated in the programme.

Prof Mofizur Rahman said that it is the government's duty to take initiatives to trace him.

Mubashar Hasan, an assistant professor of School of Humanities and Social Sciences of North South University and a former student of the DU's MCJ department, went missing on Tuesday night.
