Flight operations at Dhaka city's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport resumed on Tuesday morning after disruption for a six and half hours due to dense fog.
Domestic flights started operations at 10:00 in the morning.
Flight operations on domestic and international routes remained suspended since 3:30am, UNB quoted Dhaka airport deputy director Beni Madhab Biswas as saying.
Meanwhile, four international flights were diverted to Kolkata while no flight could take off from the airport till 9:25am, he added.
Dense fog often disrupts operations at the country's airports during winter.
At 10:37am in the morning, as per the Air Quality Index, the air visuality turned the worst.
According to the AQI, Dhaka ranked the worst with a score of 261 in air visibility while India's Kolkata stood second with a score of 240 and Vietnam's Hanoi third with a score of 221 on Tuesday morning.
