The first namaj-e-janaza of 23 US-Bangla plane crash victims was held at Bangladesh mission in Kathmandu on Monday morning, reports UNB.

The identified bodies of 23 victims were taken to embassy around 8:30am where the janaza was held at 9:00am, said US-Bangla airline's GM (Marketing Support and PR) Kamrul Islam.

A cargo plane of Bangladesh Air Force, carrying the bodies, is scheduled to land at Shahjalal International Airport in the city around 3:00pm.

A total of 23 bodies of Bangladeshis were identified till Sunday.

At least 51 people, including 26 Bangladeshi nationals, were killed as the US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of Nepal on Monday last.
