Four missing minors found dead in Habiganj

Police recovered bodies of four minor boys buried under heap of earth on Wednesday, five days after their going missing at Sundratiki village of Bahubal upazila in Habiganj.

Among the victims, Class I student Monir, 7, Class II student Shuvo, 8, and Class IV student Tazel, 10, of Sundratiki Government Primary School, were cousins. Their respective fathers, Wahid Mia, Abdul Aziz and Abdal Mia are three brothers of a family.

The other victim Ismail, 10, son of Abdul Quader, was a student of a local madrasa.

The four minors had been missing since Friday afternoon when they went to play near their houses.

Bahubal model police station officer in-charge Mosharraf Hossain said locals informed police after noticing the body of a minor in a ditch in the morning. On information, police recovered the bodies of all the four minors from the place.

Earlier, on Saturday, Abdal Mia filed an abduction case with the police station on behalf of the guardians of the victims.
