Hatirpool-Panthapath road closed till Sunday

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has closed the Hatirpool to Panthapath road via SAARC Fountain at Kawran Bazar till Sunday following piling collapse at the under construction twin tower of the National Bank Limited. 

DSCC mayor Sayeed Khokon told Prothom Alo this on the spot.
Sayeed Khokon said, “The roads adjacent to the spot are not out of risk yet. We apologise for the inconvenience to city dwellers.”
He asked the Rajuk authorities and the authorities of under construction building to put the collapse site and adjacent areas out of the risk.
The roadside caved in as the piling of the under construction NBL building collapsed twice, risking nearby Sunadarban Hotel.
