A man, who was injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over land dispute on 29 November, died at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Shamim, 33 of Fakirpara area in Hatibandha upazila.
Omar Faruk, officer-in-charge of Hatibandha Police Station, said Abdur Rahman and Toab Ali had been at loggerheads over the ownership of a piece of land.
On 29 November, the supporters of both groups attacked each other over the issue, leaving Shamim injured.
Later, he was taken to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries in the morning.
A case was filed in this connection.
