PM inaugurates 'Sheikh Hasina Bridge'

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday has inaugurated the 'Sheikh Hasina Bridge' over Mohanonda river at Saheberghat in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) constructed the 546-meter bridge at a cost of Tk 49 crore and 76 lakh.
Sheikh Hasina arrived at Chapainawabganj by a helicopter at 12:15pm and opened the bridge around 1:00pm.
The prime minster was scheduled to inaugurate five other development projects and lay foundation stone of five other projects at Chapainawabganj today.
