SK Sinha wrote it out of frustration: Law minister
Law minister Anisul Huq on Friday said those who wanted to stage a judicial coup using former chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has failed, reports UNB.
"That defeated power is now trying to resurface again," the law, justice and parliamentary affairs minister told journalists during an electoral campaign at Chargaach Bazar in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria.
In response to a question about former CJ Surendra Kumar Sinha's book, 'A Broken Dream: Rule of Law, Human Rights and Democracy', the minister said the former chief justice wrote the book out of frustration.
He also said the people of Bangladesh now want development.
"So I request you to cast your vote for 'boat' for the development of the country," he added.
