Bus set on fire in Jatrabari ahead of 48-hr countrywide blockade

Miscreants set fire to a bus in Dhaka’s Jatrabari intersection on Tuesday, ahead of the countrywide 48-hour blockade called by BNP, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the like-minded parties.

The incident took place at around 8.40 pm. A person was injured in the incident, said Talha Bin Zashim, station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (media cell).

On information, two firefighting units of Postogola fire station went to the spot to douse the fire, added the official.
