Ex-state minister for primary and mass education Zakir arrested

Police on Thursday arrested former state minister for primary and mass education Zakir Hossain from the city's Mohammadpur area.

Detective Branch (DB) of police confirmed the arrest in a message.

Zakir was accused in number of cases linked to the attack on the recent student-people movement.
