Ex-cabinet secretary Saadat Husain no more
Former cabinet secretary and chairman of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Saadat Husain died on Wednesday night.
He was 73.
The former top bureaucrat, also a freedom fighter, passed away around 10:45pm while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital, his son Shahzed Saadat told Prothom Alo.

He had been receiving treatment at the hospital for 10 days. He was suffering from kidney complications and other diseases, his son added.
Shahzad said his father would be buried at Nikunja-1 area on Thursday.
Saadat Hossain served as cabinet secretary from 2002 to 2005.
Later, he was appointed as BPSC chairman in May 2007 and served till November, 2011.
Earlier, he served at various ministries as secretary.
