A Bangladeshi citizen along with Indians has been rescued in Ukraine, spokesperson of Indian foreign minister Arindam Bagchi has said.
He made this disclosure at a press conference of the foreign ministry in New Delhi on Friday. But India couldn't disclose the details about the Bangladeshi citizen immediately.
At the press conference, Bagchi said Indians, who left Ukraine, will be brought back in 16 flights in next 24 hours. As the pressure to evacuate Indians is decreasing, it would be possible to evacuate citizens of other countries.
Earlier, the foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen on Thursday said a cooperation of Indian embassy in Ukraine has been sought to evacuate stranded Bangladeshis in Ukraine.
