A man who was undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital with fever, cold and respiratory problem, has died, reports UNB.
The patient Zubaidul Islam, was a deputy assistant engineer at education engineering department (EED), Kurigram.
Zubaidul had been suffering from heart disease and dengue, Shahjahan Ali, executive engineer of the Kurigram EED, told UNB.
He died on the way to Dhaka around 9:30pm on Wednesday as physicians in Rangpur referred him to Dhaka for better treatment, he said.
Mainuddin, medical consultant of Kurigram general hospital, said Zubaidul complained of respiratory problems on Tuesday and was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Wednesday. He was there at the isolation unit.
