Jubo League leader’s body recovered in Cumilla
Police recovered the body of a local Jubo League leader in Mostafapur area of Cumilla’s Sadar Dakkhin upazila on Thursday afternoon, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Khairul Alam Sadhan, of Bhubannagar village. He was the Muradnagar upazila JL convener.
Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Dakkhin police station, said police recovered the body with a wound on his left eye and identified him by the national identity card he was carrying.
The body was sent to Cumilla Medical College Hospital, said the OC, adding that police are investigating the incident.
Family members said Khairul left for Muradnagar from his Banashree residence in Dhaka on Thursday morning with Tk 200,000.
