A clash broke out between two rival factions of ruling Awami League in Chauddagram of Cumilla on Tuesday morning.

The transport movement on Dhaka-Chattogram highway stopped as the clash between the supporters of Cumilla-11 constituency MP Mazibul Hoque and former mayor of Chauddagram municipality Md Mizanur Rahman over establishing supremacy was underway as of filing of this report.
