Range Deputy Inspectors of General (DIGs) of all divisions of the police and commissioners of the metropolitan police outside Dhaka have been transferred.
The home ministry issued a notification regarding the transfers Wednesday.
Following an order of the president, Mahabur Rahman Sheikh, deputy secretary of the public security division of the ministry signed the declaration.
