PM to unveil commemorative currency note marking golden jubilee of constitution 18 Dec

Bangladesh bank (BB) has printed a commemorative currency note of Tk 50 marking the ‘Golden Jubilee of the Constitution and the Supreme Court of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh’.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to unveil the note at a discussion on 18 December, said a press release.

This commemorative note will be available for sale from the head office of BB from 19 December and later from all branches of BB.

The note was imprinted with photograph of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and logo of the ‘Golden Jubilee of the Constitution and the Supreme Court’ on the front side.

The central bank has printed the note with a picture of the Jatiya Sangsad.
