Banks asked not to keep female staff after 6pm

No banks can force its female employees to stay at office after 6:00pm, the Bangladesh Bank said in a directive on 28 May.
The directive signed by Bangladesh Bank deputy general manager Rup Ratan Pine asked the authorities concerned to take immediate measures in this regard.
According to the BB order, if a woman employee has to work after the deadline, she must be provided extra benefit and proper security on her way back home.
