City Bank appoints new DMDs

City Bank has appointed Kazi Azizur Rahman and Md. Nazmul Arif Khan as Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank.

Kazi Azizur Rahman had been working in the same Bank as its Chief Information Officer. He started his career with Grabowsky & Poort B.V., a Dutch company, as a system engineer. Prior to his joining City Bank, Aziz was Vice President and Manager at the Service Management Unit of the IT Division of Eastern Bank Limited.  Aziz also worked with Net-Linx Americas Inc. in Canada as an Oracle DBA and Data Analyst. He also worked with British American Tobacco Company, Bangladesh and BIRDEM. Aziz is a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Newport University, India.

Md. Nazmul Arif Khan had been serving in the same bank as the head of Internal Control & Compliance. He started his career in City Bank in 1983. He served as branch manager in different branches for 27 years. Before being appointed as the head of Internal Control & Compliance, Nazmul Arif was the manager of Khulna Branch and Cluster Head of Khulna zone. He is a Bachelor of Arts from Dhaka University.
