Ryans celebrates 22nd anniversary

Computer and technology products retailer Ryans Computers celebrated its 22nd anniversary recently.

Officials and employees of the company celebrated the programme at Ryans auditorium at its head office in Dhaka on 2 January, said a press release.

Ryans managing director Ahmed Hasan and representatives from all the branches also joined the ceremony. They shared their experiences and plans.

Employees who could not participate in the ceremony in-person joined it virtually on Zoom. The MD along with the employees also cut a cake on to celebrate the anniversary.

Addressing the programme, Ahmed Hasan said, "We want to bring people from all over Bangladesh under our service through online and offline. And, our goal is to deliver products or services at the fastest time not only in the divisional cities but also at the regional level.”

“There are innumerable talents scattered in different parts of our country. And, our goal is to make the necessary product available to everyone including children and teenagers," he added.

Ryans computers celebrated the founding ceremony at all of the branches all around the country by cutting the cake and other activities. Besides, the outlets were decorated with banners, danglers, and balloons.

Ryans started their journey on 2 January 2000 opening its first outlet at BCS Computer City in IDB, the biggest computer market in Bangladesh.

Currently, there are 16 branches of Ryans in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Rangpur, Bagura, Barishal, and Mymensingh divisions. Ryans also opened an outlet at the capital’s Uttara recently.

For sales related services, there is a service centre with all branches. But the specialized service operations are run as Ryans Care. They can repair the motherboard chipset with skilled engineers and advanced technologies.

Besides, Ryans offers 24/7 customer care service through their social media pages and call centre.

Since February 2009, Ryans has been publishing Product Book every month. It is a 132-page book containing more than 3,000 products including laptop, desktop, PC components, office equipment, camera, smart device and more.

In 2017, Ryans ventured into e-commerce. Currently, Ryans receives order online from every part of the country and delivers products to 64 districts. But even before that the official website of Ryans, ryanscomputers.com, was popular among buyers as a trustworthy platform for product information.

Besides, Ryans has achieved many awards in the business sector as the no. 1 retail partner of globally renowned brands like HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Gigabyte, AMD, and so on.

In 2018, Ryans receives the “Best Consumer Partner in South East Asia and Korea” recognition from HP.
