Bollywood icons dazzle the ramp on Lakme Fashion Week Day 4

Mumbai is seeing the colour and glamour of the ravishing fashion week by Lakme. The fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week had crowds of Bollywood fashionistas on Saturday unveiling a series of dazzling collections by various designers.

Shruti Haasan became the showstopper for Saaksha and Kinni's Raas. Sakshi and Kinni are the two young designers from South Gujarat.

Bollywood’s sizzling actress and item girl Malaika Arora spotted wearing Anusri Reddi’s fluorescent lime Lehenga and setting the ramp on fire.

The main attraction for the fourth day was Payal Singhal. Neha Dhupia and her husband Angad Bedi turned showstoppers for the designer. Neha Dhupiya, who is pregnant, was shown flaunting her baby bump on the ramp.

Celebrity designer Nachiket Barve’s “Millennial Maharanis” collection recreated the magnificence, fashion and beauty of Indian royalty.

Bollywood legend Sridevi’s daughter actress Jhanvi Kapoor turned muse  for Nachiket’s creation.

The fine embroidery was the speciality of the collection starting with small sparkling patterns to magnificent bouquets of golden blossoms at the hem. A pink dupatta matched the lehenga-choli perfectly.

During the previous hour of the fashion Shahid Kapoor, Disha Patani and even Sushmita Sen turned showstoppers for various designers.

The Lakme Fashion Week was a riot of colour, glamour, glitter, divas and fashion par excellence. People will be talking about it for a long time to come.
