Popular folk singer Fakir Alamgir will perform in a programme at Bangladesh National Museum in the capital's Shahbagh on 20 February.
Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre will organise the musical evening at 6:30pm
Fakir Alamgir has blended traditional folk music with western instruments and has fused 'modernism' into the old tradition of Gono Sangeet.
The singer also received many awards. He was awarded the 'Ekushey Padak' by the government of Bangladesh in 1999.
